Welcome to the TX-CEMETERY-PRESERVATION mailing list hosted by "Our Loose Ends" genealogy column written by Lynna Kay Shuffield and published in the Taylor Daily Press newspaper in Taylor, Williamson County, Texas and the Cameron Herald newspaper in Cameron, Milam County, Texas.

If you have any comments, questions or suggestions, please contact me via e-mail to discuss details. It is my goal to provide you with a great source for genealogical information, so continue to visit this site on a regular basis and watch it grow. I will be glad to make suggestions to help you with your research, but unfortunately, I will be unable to personally assist with the research.

The purpose of the TX-CEMETERY-PRESERVATION mailing list and its webpage is to facilitate the preservation of historic Texas cemeteries. By open discussion and exchange of ideas, techniques, and information we can work together in the separate regions of Texas to save our cemeteries.

This list is open to researchers, historians, genealogists and anyone needing help with how to survey, index, clean up, and/or preserve cemeteries. If you need help, ask questions and professionally respond with information and suggestions.

We invite you to subscribe to the TX-CEMETERY-PRESERVATION mailing list, send an e-mail to TX-CEMETERY-PRESERVATION-L-request@rootsweb.com with the single word SUBSCRIBE in the message subject and body or visit: http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/usa/TX/.
