S. W. Drummond has been notified of the death of his son, Cpl. Leonard W. Drummond, killed in action in Korea.

Cpl. Drummond had been missing in action since November 20. He graduated from Thrall High School in 1948 and enlisted in the service at once. While in the service he had served in California and Washington, going overseas in June of this year. He was with the 38th Field Artillery of the Second Division.

The Drummond family lived at Thrall, but Mr. Drummond has recently moved to Rockdale. His wife died last April.
