- Alford-Eads Cemetery (See: Davison Cemetery)

- Allday-Jones Cemetery - Located in the far northeast quadrant of Milam Co. near Wilderville and Baileyville. The family cemetery is located on a private ranch. As of 2001, a key must be secured from James H. Jones in Calvert, Texas, in order to gain access. To get to the inactive cemetery from Cameron, drive north on US Hwy 77 about 5-miles and at FM 485, turn right. Continue about 6-miles to FM 979 and turn left and then continue to FM 2027 and again turn left. Travel about 7-miles to CR 278A and turn right onto a gravel road. Cross a small bridge and veer to the right (straight is the Mt. Zion Cemetery) and go six-tenths of a mile to the locked fate on the left. Proceed through two gaps and the cemetery is on the left among some large oak trees. The Stoneham Cemetery is a little over one-quarter of a mile on the right. The fence that once surrounded the site is in poor shape, but the cemetery is in good condition. Peter Allday, buried in the cemetery is a veteran of the War of 1812, enlisting in Georgia.

- Allen Cemetery - Located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. about 7-miles from Cameron. To get to the inactive cemetery from Cameron, drive north on US Hwy 77 for 5-miles and turn right onto FM 485. At CR 140 or the Silver City road, turn left and follow it for 6-miles to Walker’s Creek Cemetery. Continue on the paved road for 1.5-miles There is a small bridge before the curve. Go about one-half mile and turn right and pass through a gate. Permission must be secured to enter the open pasture on this private property. The cemetery lies about one-quarter mile to the south end of the field in some large oak trees and it has a rusted wrought iron, ornamental fence around it. The historically famous Allen Springs are located on these premises. The area was a watering place for Indians before Stephen F. Austin and Sterling Robertson founded their colonies in the mid-1830s. By 1836, the springs were widely known.

- Allison Cemetery - Located in the north central part of Milam Co. The original name of the cemetery is unknown and it was given the name “Allison Cemetery” as that is the surname of the oldest grave in the cemetery. To get to the inactive cemetery from Cameron, drive 6-miles to Pettibone on State Hwy 36 and US 190. At the junction of CR 486 turn left and go 8.2-miles to the intersection of 486 and 487 and turn right onto 487. Continue 8-miles to CR 418, about 1-mile from Davilla and turn left. Go 1.6-miles and a large red brick house can be seen in the distance on a hill. Permission to enter the locked gate and private property must be obtained from the Hand family near Davilla. The cemetery lies on the fringe of a clearing more or less a mile in back of their home.

- Applegate Cemetery - Located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, drive south on State Hwy 36 about 12-miles to Milano. At the intersection of Hwy 36 and US Hwy 77, turn right and go about a mile to CR 360 and turn left and cross the railroad tracks. This is private property and permission must be secured from the Stewart family in Milano before entering the premises.

- Barber Cemetery - Located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. and is on Alcoa property in Rockdale. Permission must be obtained from the Main Office and a guide will drive interested parties to the site. It is best to make arrangements in advance before driving to the office. To get to this cemetery from Rockdale, take US Hwy 79 west about 6-miles to FM 1786 and turn left. Continue about 5-miles and turn left and shortly the Main Office will appear on the right.

- Bates-Robbins/Massey Place Cemetery - Located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. northeast of Davilla. The original name of the cemetery is unknown and it was given this name from the surnames of the graves in the cemetery. The cemetery is abandoned. There are two different driving directions to this cemetery. It is unknown which is correct. Mrs. John Martin states the cemetery is 4.5-miles east of Davilla. Perry Holder states the cemetery was 6-miles northeast of Davilla on FM 1328 (FM 1915 in 2001) and the ranch gate was about one-quarter of a mile west of the Friendship Church and its cemetery. He stated there was a large iron sign over the gate. It is unknown who now owns the property.

- Battle-Castillo Cemetery - Located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take Crockett St. southwest from State Hwy 36 west to FM 1600 and turn left. When 1600 makes a sharp turn to the right, continue straight onto the gravel CR 219. Continue about one-quarter of a mile and a cyclone fence will come into view on the right. Old county maps show this cemetery name as “Battle.” The Castillo name was added because all of the names are Hispanic. Perhaps, the land was owned by the Battle Family and those interred were people working for them.

- Beal Cemetery - Located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take US Hwy 77 north 5-miles to FM 485 and turn right. It is about 2-miles northeast of the Walker’s Creek Cemetery located in a pasture. The cemetery has a heavy wrought iron fence about 40-feet x 100-feet.

- Ben Arnold Cemetery - Located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Cameron, go 9-miles north on US Hwy 77 to about one-quarter of a mile before the town of Ben Arnold. The cemetery is located on the right or east side of US Hwy 77 and is enclosed with a cyclone fence.

- Bentsch Cemetery - Located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this one-grave inactive cemetery from Cameron, go 5-miles north on US Hwy 77 to FM 485 and turn right. Drive about 2-miles to CR 140 and turn left. Go about one-half mile to Walker’s Creek and about 1-mile more to a giant oak tree that be about 100-yards on the left side of the road in a pasture. The single grave is enclosed by a 5-foot x 10-foot wrought iron fence.

- Bingham Cemetery -
Located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Rockdale, take US Hwy 79 west about 6-miles to CR 1786, the Alcoa Road, and turn left. About a mile, you will veer to the right at CR 448 south. As you approach the bend in the road, the cemetery is about 100-yards to the side of the gravel road. Be careful as it is easy to miss. There are only two readable gravemarkers. The other markers are made of cement and are unreadable.

- Black Bridge Cemetery (formerly No Name Cemetery) - Located in the far northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this abandoned black cemetery from Cameron, take US Hwy 77 north for 5-miles to FM 485 and turn right and continue for 6-miles to FM 979 and turn left. Go about 12-miles to just before Black Bridge. On a slight hill on the left side of the road there is a gap gate with a large cedar tree in front of it. Turn into the ingress to the cemetery over a culvert. Park and walk up the steep incline.

- Blakely Cemetery (exact site unknown - lost cemetery) - This cemetery may have been located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. This lost and abandoned cemetery was located about 10-miles east of Cameron on the Blakely homestead. There are no tombstones and permission is required before entering. There are only 3 or 4 small stones left without any readable names on them.

- Bozeman Cemetery - List of Burials - This cemetery is located in the far northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take US Hwy 77 north for 5-miles to FM 485 and turn right. Go 6-miles to FM 979 and turn left. Continue to FM 2027 and turn left. The cemetery is located on the Anderson Development Company and permission must be obtained to enter the ranch. The cemetery is in an open pasture on a hill. There is a fence surround the cemetery and is in a fair state of preservation.

- Branchville Cemetery (formerly Old Providence Cemetery) - This cemetery is located in the southeast quadrant of Milam Co. The cemetery was once known as the Old Providence Cemetery. To get to this active black cemetery from Cameron, take US 77 north for 5-miles to FM 485 and turn right. Go to the cemetery of the Branchville Community, pass several stores and a white church will come into view on the left side of the road. There is undergrowth in front of the church so look closely. The cemetery is behind the church. The cemetery is well cared for and the rows and sections are clearly marked.

- Brewer-Slocomb Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the north central part of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take Fannin St. north from the Courthouse and it will become CR 240. At CR 226-A, turn east and go about one-half mile to the cemetery located on the left side of the road. Permission to enter should be obtained from the Slocomb or Travis family. The many of the gravemarkers are broken and in disrepair and the cattle have knocked down the fence.

- Brown's Rose Garden Cemetery -
This cemetery is located in the southeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Gause, drive one-half mile west on US Hwy 79 and at CR Loop 348 turn left. The cemetery is located on the left side of the road and is surrounded by a cyclone fence. This is a family cemetery and permission must be secured to enter.

- Bryant-Blassinggill Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. on Alcoa property. There are only two graves in this inactive cemetery.

- Bryant Place Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take State Hwy 36 and US Hwy 190 about 9-miles to Buckholts. The cemetery can be reached by either taking CR 112 or CR 104, but CR 112 is closer. Go eight-tenths of a mile from the caution light in Buckholts and turn left onto CR 112 and go to CR 108 and turn left. At the junction of CR 104, turn right and go to CR 105 and turn right. Three white crosses can be seen on the left side of the road on Mark Taft’s property. Mr. Taft was told by a neighbor that the three individuals were killed by Indians when they were on their way to market. An Indian campground was located nearby and the original Bryant’s trading post was on CR 106, but the story cannot be substantiated. The general consensus of the locals is that the descendants of the original landowner, Benjamin Bryant lived and farmed the property.

- Bryant Station Cemetery - List of Burials - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take State Hwy 36 and US Hwy 190 about 9-miles to Buckholts. Go eight-tenths of a mile from the caution light in Buckholts to CR 112 and turn left. The cemetery is one-third mile down CR 106. Pass through a gate and in a short distance after the second gate is the cemetery. There is a cyclone fence around the cemetery but it is in poor condition.

- Burlington Cemetery (White) - This cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Burlington, take exit 133-B to the right and travel a short distance. The cemetery is on the right. According to Ms. Stoebner, the first gate entrance is the Ecumenical part or Protestant portion of the cemetery. From that road entrance and left to the telephone pole is where the original public burials were made. The left side of the cemetery is the Catholic section for St. Michael’s Cemetery and it has a separate entrance with new brick columns and the archway has the name over the gate. Behind the Catholic portion of the cemetery is a section of Hispanic burials.

- Burlington Cemetery (Black) - This cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this abandoned black cemetery from Cameron, take US Hwy 77 about 9-miles north. There is only one gravemarker found in the cemetery however a number of burials in this area were indicated on death certificates at the Milam County Clerk’s Office.

- Burns Family Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. This active cemetery is located a short distance from the home of Ellis Burn, Jr. near Davilla and permission must be obtained to enter. There are two graves.

- Bushdale Cemetery - List of Burials - This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Rockdale, take FM 908 north about 4-miles. The cemetery is just past CR 302 and is well maintained.

- Caddo Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northeastern quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take US Hwy 77 about 5-miles to FM 485 and turn right. Go past the Maysfield and Branchville communities to FM 2027 and turn left. Continue past the Baileyville-Wilderville communities almost 3-miles and turn right and drive about one-half mile. Permission from the Charles Ellison family must be obtained to enter. The Caddo Springs are about 1.5-miles northeast of the cemetery. At one time, they were the focal point and campground for a band of Caddo Indians. There are only two gravemarkers visible due to very dense and impenetrable undergrowth.

- Cameron Pioneer Cemetery a/k/a Old Pioneer-Cameron Cemetery - List of Burials - This cemetery is located in central Milam Co. To get to this cemetery from downtown Cameron, take US Hwy 77 south and drive about 1-mile. The cemetery is on the right-hand side of the road. Daniel Monroe and his wife, Sallie donated about 60-acres for the settlement of Cameron in 1846. Of that land, 2-acres was set aside for a cemetery. A cyclone fence surrounds the cemetery.

- Cameron Rest Cemetery (formerly known as Cameron Colored Cemetery) - This cemetery is located in central Milam Co. To get to this black cemetery from downtown Cameron, take Crocket St. southwest from town and at FM 1600 turn left. Go past the Wilson-Ledbetter Bark and a gravel road will appear in a short distance. The road divides the older part of the cemetery and the newer. The older part is between the swimming pool and the gravel road and the stones are bailey visible. The entrance to the newer part of the cemetery is past the gravel road and is on the left facing FM 1600. The Hernandez Cemetery is behind the newer section.

- Cervantes Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the southeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from the intersection of State Hwy 36 and US Hwy 79 in Milano, drive north on Hwy 36 about 2-miles. At the top of a hill and on a curve, take a sharp right turn. Continue on the gravel road over the railroad tracks until a gate appears. Permission to enter must be secured from Mr. Wadington of Milano and to secure a key to the gate. The road to the cemetery is very rough. There is one burial in the cemetery located at the back of the property.

- Clarkson Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Cameron, take US Hwy 77 north about 9-miles to Ben Arnold. Continue about 3-miles north of the town to FM 1445 and turn right and about 5-miles the old school house will come into view on the right. Go about 1-mile to a sharp right and the cemetery and church should be on the right. The Vogelsang Cemetery is about 4-miles away. The cemetery is fenced. The Clarkson Community was formerly known as Possum Trot Community.

- Connell Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Thorndale, take FM 486 south about 4-miles. Pass the Conoley Cemetery and continue for 200-yards and turn right onto a dirt road (CR 454 – is not shown on the latest maps). Go bout one-half mile and there will be an old wire gap or gate on the north side of the road. At this point, you will travel on foot. Continue north along the fence line about 330-yards and then turn east about 100-yards. In 1987, there was a cyclone fence around the cemetery. In 1999, the brush was very dense and large trees had grown up among the gravemarkers. There are markers inside and outside the fence.

- Conoley Union Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Thorndale, take US Hwy 79 and turn left on FM 486 and continue 4-miles south to CR 455 and turn left at the sign for the church and cemetery. The cemetery was in bad shape in 1999.

- Corinth Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Cameron, take State Hwy 36 for 9-miles to Buckholts. At FM 1915 take a left and go south about 2.3-miles. Just before the yellow building on the right side of the road, take a very sharp turn to the right on CR 104 and go about one-quarter mile. There is a cyclone fence around the cemetery.

- Cox's Providence Cemetery (Coxes) - This cemetery is located in the southeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active black cemetery from Cameron, take State Hwy 36 about 2.5-miles to FM 2095 and turn left. Continue about 7-miles to CR 242 and turn left and go about 1-mile. The cemetery is on the right. Except for the front part of the cemetery, the grounds are grown up, not maintained and the gravemarkers are very hard to find.

- Craddock Cemetery (exact site unknown - lost cemetery) - This cemetery is located almost at the county lines of Milam Co. and Bell Co. and is located about 4-miles southwest from Rogers, Texas. John Robert Craddock, veteran of the Battle of San Jacinto is buried there.
- Crayton-Richards Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this black active cemetery from Rockdale, take US Hwy 77 6-miles and at CR 314 turn left onto a gravel road and bout about one-half mile. The cemetery is on the left side of the and there is a cyclone fence around the cemetery.

- Cross Roads Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Cameron, take US Hwy 77 about 5-miles to FM 485 and turn right. Go 6-miles to FM 979 and turn left. Go about 5-miles and pass the Little River Baptist Church & Cemetery and then pass the Old Stidham Store. At CR 250 Loop, turn right onto a gravel road and go about 1.5-miles. The cemetery is on the right immediately past a curve. There is a nice fence around the cemetery and it is well cared for.

- Culpepper Family Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Cameron, take Fannin St. north and as it leaves town, it becomes CR 240. The cemetery is located in a pasture behind Hill Culpepper’s home. Permission to enter must be secured before entering the private property.

- Cunningham Family Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the southeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Gause, take US Hwy 79 about 4-miles to just short of the overpass. Follow the blue signs for the Old River Road to the left and then go under the overpass onto a gravel road. At the fork, take CR 354 and bout about 2-miles, cross a small creek bed and drive up a slight hill through the woods. There will be a cleared, fenced-in field on the right. Walk into the grassy field and keep to the right along the trees about 65-yards. Look carefully because the barbed wire fence around the cemetery is difficult to see. Permission to enter the cemetery should be secured before entering.

- Dansby Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take State Hwy 36 about 6-miles to Pettibone. At CR 203L, turn right and the cemetery is about 1-mile on CR 203L on the right, just to the left of a house and under a large pine tree.

- Davilla Cemetery (White) - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Davilla, take CR 487 about 1-mile southwest of the Davilla-Bartlett Road. It is on the right side of the road. There is a cyclone fence around the cemetery.

- Davilla Cemetery (Black) - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this black active cemetery from Davilla, take CR 487 about 1-mile. Several houses will be visible on the right side of the road. Drive down the narrow, dirt road between the houses, pass a boarded up school on the right, and continue around a curve to the left and is on a hill. The cemetery is clean and well maintained.

- Davidson Cemetery (formerly Alford-Eads Cemetery) -
This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Rockdale, take US Hwy 79 west for 7.5-miles, passing the Salty Cemetery sign and on a hill, turn right just after sighting the boxcars in the distance on the right. Turn right onto a narrow dirt road. You may have to park your car and walk the last 200-yards down a very narrow lane. There is no fence around the cemetery that, in 1999, needed to be cleaned, as the gravemarkers were barely visible. In 1981, this cemetery was formerly listed as the Alford-Eads Cemetery because no one knew the name, so it was given the for the most frequently seen names in the cemetery. The personnel of the Phillips-Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale corrected this error and provided the proper name for the cemetery.

- Detmold Cemetery -
This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Thorndale, take FM 437 north about 4-miles. The cemetery is at the intersection of FM 437 and FM 443.

- Dockery Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take State Hwy 36 towards Temple for about 6-miles and turn left at FM 486 at Pettibone and go about three-tenths of a mile and the cemetery will be on the left side of the road. There is a steel link fence around the cemetery. There are markers inside and outside the fence. No one knows the exact location of the graves, so one stone was erected for all of them.

- Dotson Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. This inactive, one-grave cemetery is located about 3-miles northwest of Sharp and about 1-mile west and 1-mile north of Lilac Cemetery on CR 3061. Robert Pope provided the information for this grave.

- Eagle-Holliman Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Rockdale, take US Hwy 77 south about 6.5-miles and at CR 313 turn right. Go about 1.2 miles and cemetery is on right. On the county map, the cemetery is named Holliman Cemetery but the sign over the entrance reads Eagle Cemetery. There is a cyclone fence around the cemetery.

- East Lawn Cemetery & New East Lawn Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. in the City of Rockdale. This black active cemetery is located on E. 3rd St. behind the Oak Lawn Cemetery (white). To get to this cemetery, take Pear St. south, cross the railroad tracks, pass Oak Lawn Cemetery and turn left at 3rd St. The cemetery will come into view. The New Oak Lawn is closer to the railroad tracks. It is possible some of the names belong to the Old Rockdale Black Cemetery in the middle of the Old Rockdale Cemetery on FM 908. The records were not specific.

- Fagan's Pasture Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northeast part of Milam Co. To get to this inactive one-grave cemetery from Cameron, take US Hwy 77 north about 5-miles to FM 485 and turn right onto FM 485. Go about 6-miles to FM 979 and turn left. This cemetery is about one-half mile from the Black Bridge that spans Brazos River. Turn off at the second gate before the bridge. The cemetery is on private property owned by Mrs. John Fagan of Calvert.

- Felton Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Cameron, take Crockett St. southwest from ST Hwy 36 to FM 1600 west and continue FM 487 and turn right. Go to CR 486 and turn left and driver about 4-miles. Slow down and look for a clump of trees to the left and the cemetery is about 300-years in an open pasture. Drive through the gate facing CR 486. There is a fence around the cemetery.

- Forest Grove Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the southwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get this active cemetery from Rockdale take US Hwy 77 south about 8-miles and the Forest Grove Christian Church will be on the right side of the road. It is about one-quarter of a mile from the county lines of Milam Co. and Lee Co.

- Foster Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northeast quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this inactive cemetery from Cameron, take US Hwy 77 north about 5-miles to FM 485 and turn right. Go about 20-miles to the Branchville Community and CR 263 and turn left and go to CR 259 also know as Wildcat Road. The gate to the cemetery is about one-quarter of a mile to the left of the intersection on the right and about 200-yards from CR 259 in the woods. Permission must be obtained to enter the locked gate.

- Fowler Cemetery
- This one-grave cemetery was visited by Mr. Turner about 1963. Permission to enter the premises must be secured from Mrs. Ely in Gause.

- Friendship Cemetery - This cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Milam Co. To get to this active cemetery from Cameron, take State Hwy 36 west about 9-miles to FM 1915 at Buckholts and turn left. Follow the winding road about 8-miles and the cemetery will be on the left behind the Methodist Church. There is a black gate.
