At our August meeting, we had a most interesting presentation regarding the use of the Family History Center (FHC) at the Killeen Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The speaker brought several print-outs of the kinds of information on their computer system.
For our November meeting, our speaker will by Mrs. Lucille Hilliard, President of the Betty Martin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) from Thorndale.
Our speaker at the December meeting will be Mrs. Karen Thompson, Vice-President of the Martin Wells Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT).

QUERY: Callie Matthews Cross, 505 E. Main St., Denison, Texas 75020 - Surnames: Wells, Walton, Comperry. In a letter dated 8 Nov 1928 from J. B. Rolin (Roland) in Rockdale to my great-uncle, Cornelius Franklin (Frank) Wells saying, “Uncle Cricket Wells was coming to Maud, TX for a visit and to find him a place to trap.”
