1994 dues for the Milam County Genealogical Society are due.
Our February 10, 1994, meeting was canceled due to the ice storm of 1994. The meeting was delayed until February 24, 1994.
New officers are to be elected and installed February 24, 1994 and Caroline Kibodeaux is to present a program on using land records in genealogical research.
The March program is to be a tape “Locating Immigrant Ancestors”
The April 14, 1994, program is to be a presentation by Mary Cooper on “Handy Dandy Research Kits for Travel”

QUERY: Gale Eleanor CLEMENTS Savage - regarding relatives who married in Falls Co., TX in 1910. According to the Handybook for Genealogists, Falls Co. was created in 1850 so the query is misdirected.
QUERY: Virginia DENNING, P. O. Box 647, Brackenridge, Texas 76427 - Seeking information regarding the birthplaces and parents’ names of William Frank JONES and his wife, Virginia McCULLOUGH who came to Milam Co. He was born in Tennessee in 1870, died in 1915 and was buried in Prospect Cemetery. She was born in Tennessee. They had a daughter Martha Ann Jane JONES who married Labrad Clayton FAILAS (sp?).

One of them was Managing a Genealogical Project by William Dollarhide available from Genealogical Publishing Co., 1001 N. Calvert, Baltimore, MD 21202 for $14.95 and the other was the Handybook for Genealogists from Everton Publishing.
