At our February 24, 1994 meeting (delayed due to the ice storm), we elected officers for the new year. A motion was made that we investigate changing our meeting date to either the first or fourth Thursday of the month due to conflicts in the use of the library and difficulties for some of our members. Caroline Kibodeaux presented a program introducing the members to a new 8-volume set of American State Papers: Public Lands, which was bought with Dobie grant money.

In the Library
Computer printouts of parts of the Milam Co. census of 1880 furnished by Roy Pinkerton, Long Beach, CA, which is alphabetized and ease to use and a folder of 1880-1900 Milam County Census which is not nearly as easy to use. Caroline would like to have these in a more stable form.
On the bulletin board
Flyer from Richard Hooverson of Belton, listing his genealogical lecture topics.
