At our April meeting, plans were made to go to the Family History Center at 1000 Rutherford Lane in Austin on April 19th. Jon Cook brought examples of the output of the PAF genealogical program. It has many helpful features, costs only $35 and it is easy to use.
It was decided to give each member a copy of the membership list. As of April 6th, we have 27 members, three of whom are honorary.
We discussed the need to have a more organized approach to handling requests for genealogical information and our responses to those requests, as well as some type of a fee schedule. Search are time consuming and we need to keep some type of a log.
