The big event for our society will be Thur., Oct. 12th at the Patterson Civic Center. Our annual dinner meeting begins at 6 p.m. and our speaker will be Richard L. Hooverson. His topic will be “Roots Revolution.” Tickets for non-members are $5 each and include a covered-dish dinner. For more information call Peggy Wright or Gloria Martin in Cameron. Lucille Towery who was the speaker at our September meeting has been busy calling and assigning duties. If you are not clear on yours, check with her at the meeting.
