Driving Directions to Cemeteries
Hurt-Graham Cemetery
Driving Directions - From Houston - driving time approx. 3-hours
- Take US-290 West towards Brenham, passing Waller, Hempstead, Chappel Hill
(approx. 70-miles from downtown Houston)
- Take TX-36 North towards Milano, passing through Somerville & Caldwell (approx. 50-miles)
- Take CR 328 - Immediately turn right onto a dirt lane about 75-yards to the cemetery, do not proceed straight on the dirt road towards the Sand Grove Cemetery
Driving Directions - From Rockdale - driving time approx. 20-minutes
- Take US-79 to the junction of US-79 and TX-36
- Take TX-36 South towards Caldwell about 4½-miles to CR-328
- Take right onto CR-328 and immediately take right onto a dirt road and take another immediate right onto a dirt lane for about 75-yards to the cemetery
Jewish Cemetery - Driving Directions - From Milano - driving time approx. 20-minutes
- Take TX-36 North to dead-end at the junction of US-79, about 4½-miles
- Take left onto US-79 towards Rockdale (becomes Cameron Ave. once inside Rockdale city limits)
- Take left onto S. Main Street (also FM-908), cross over railroad tracks, at this point, S. Main becomes Oak Street. About 100-yards south of the Old City Cemetery is White Street
- Take left onto White Street - the Jewish Cemetery is at the back / southeast corner behind the Old City Cemetery at Mulberry Street
Oak Hill Cemetery - Driving Directions - From Rockdale - driving time approx. 30-minutes
- Take US-79 (E. Cameron Ave.) out of Rockdale to the junction of US-77
- Take left onto US-77 north about 14-miles to the junction of TX-36
- Take left onto TX-36 about 3-miles into Cameron
- Take left at red light at Fannin Street go 5-blocks, passing Courthouse, Milam County Sheriff’s Dept. (103 S. Fannin) & the old Milam County Jail Museum - on your left, you will see the cemetery as you cross-over the railroad tracks
Little River Cemetery - Driving Directions - From Cameron - driving time approx. 30-minutes
- Take US-77 north for about 5-miles to FM-485
- Take right onto FM-485 and continue about continue about 6-miles to the intersection of FM-485 and FM-979
- Take left onto FM-979 and go about 3½-miles to cemetery on right
Pin Oak Cemetery - Driving Directions - From Jones Prairie - driving time approx. 30-minutes
- Take FM-979 south to FM-485
- Take left onto FM-485 south to CR-264
- Take right onto CR-264 south to FM-2095
- Take right onto FM-2095 and continue about 3½-miles to until several large cedar trees that are close to power lines come into view
- Take right at that point and drive past a house and cross a cattle guard, proceed straight until the road veers to the right and the burial grounds
If it has been raining, a different route will be utilized - We will go back to Cameron, and take TX-36 and turn left onto FM-2095 and continue to cedar trees
