BROWER, Cherell of Houston. Age 6. Died 1979 (Sat. 1:45 a.m.) suffocating in a mobile home fire. Unidentified motorists were credited with saving the lives of 7 other family members when they were passing by on US 79 and saw the fire. Rodney Branch who lived in the mobile home with his 3 sisters, Kenya Branch, Marsha Bell and Jackie Bell, and 2 nieces, Elaine Debose and Iris Brower and nephew Bobby Debose, said Cherell and her sister, Iris Brower of Houston, were visiting the family for the holidays. The child was buried (Sunday) in the New Oak Lawn Cemetery.
