INGE, Edytha M. of Rockdale. Age 85. Died 7/22/1988 (Friday) at St.Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Houston. Services held 7/25 (Monday) at Colonial Funeral Home. Burial (Tuesday) in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. She was BORN 2/9/1903 in Pocahontas, ARK, to M/M. Thomas (Josie) Bennett. Member of St.John's United Methodist Church. Buried in Arlington where her late husband, a WW-1 veteran, is also buried. SURVIVORS: 2 daughters, Juanita Leech of Huntington Beach, CA., and Billie Oney of Rockdale; 2 sons, Berkley Inge and Victor Inge, both of Pasadena; 2 sisters, a brother; 12 grandchildren (including Vickie New and Janet Svrcek of Rockdale); 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchildren. INMAN, David C. of Rockdale. Age 70. Died 1/1985 (Thursday) at Richard Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Services held (Monday) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Burial in Houston Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Rev. Don Auten officiated. Phillips & Luckey, Rockdale, in charge of arrangements. He was BORN 10/10/1914 in Jacksonville, FL., to M/M. Alfred H. (Alice Turner) Inman. He was a painting contractor for 54 years prior until his retirement in 1981 (4 years ago). Married Faye Maxine Dickson in Jacksonville, FL. Preceded in death by a son, David Bruce Inman in 1967. SURVIVORS: Wife, Faye Maxine Inman of Rockdale; sons, Richard C. INOCENCIO, Joe M. of Houston. Age 54. Died 6/13/1982 (Sunday) in Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale after a long illness. Services held (Wed.) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel in Rockdale. Burial in St.Joseph's Cemetery, Rockdale. He was BORN 8/27/1927 in Palestine and a truck driver. Had lived in Houston and in Thorndale for about 2 months. Services held at Inglesia Bautista Antoquia. Burial in St.Joseph's Cemetery. Rev. Alex Leal officiated. He was BORN 9/1/1900 in Mexico to M/M. Salome Inocencio. Employed as a laborer in Texas City. Married Luz Sanchez in 1923 in Rockdale. SURVIVORS: Wife, Mrs. Luz Inocencio of Rockdale; son, Leonard Inocencio of Texas City; 7 daughters, Connie Driscoll, Elvera Avalos, Oralia Garcia, Sophie Alexander, Willina Gonzales and Dorothy Serda, all of Texas City, and Felicidad Inocencio of Rockdale; brother, Mariano Inocencio of Mexico; 2 sisters, Francisca Ybarra and Vivian Tovar, both of San Antonio; 32 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren. Burial in IOOF Cemetery. Rev. Walt Sowards officiated. He was BORN 11/26/1915 in Milam Co. to M/M. Conn R. Isaacs, Sr. Lifelong resident of Rockdale. Member of First Christian Church. ISAACS, Mrs. Texana of Yucaipa, CA. Age 94. Died 11/23/1977 in Redlands, CA. Services held 11/28 at the Emmerson-Bartlett Yucaipa Chapel. Burial in Inglewood Memorial Park. Rev. John M. Case of Yucaipa Christian Church officiated. She was BORN 10/26/1883 and lived in Thorndale for a long time, moving to Yucaipa in 1974. SURVIVORS: 6 daughters, Velma Rosnovak of Yucaipa; Marie Dragna of Rondondo Beach, CA., Leatha Mae Locklin of Houston, Ethel Young of Yucaipa, Willis Arvis Ittner of Kingsburg and Dorothy Chappell of Lawndale; 3 brothers, Bayom Blackwell and Alonzo Blackwell, both of Texas, Emzy Blackwell of California; 3 sisters, Jewel Segrest, Mae Ollie Willie and Katy Ross all of Texas; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. ISABEL, Euel W. of Corpus Christi. Age 73. Died 6/28/1979 in a Corpus Christi hospital after a lingering illness. Services held (Friday) in Corpus Christi. Burial in Seaside Memorial Cemetery. He was BORN 3/5/1905. Married to Katie Belle Fulcher of Thorndale, who preceded him in death. Retired from his Exxon Service Station for several years. ISABEL, Mrs. Katye Belle of Corpus Christi. Age 68. Died 2/5/1976 (Thursday) from complications following surgery in late January. Services held (Friday) in the Cage-Mills Funeral Chapel, Corpus Christi. Burial in Seaside Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Bob Meadows of the Gardendale Baptist Church officiated. She was BORN 11/30/1907 in San Gabriel, the eldest daughter of Mrs. Pearl Wilson Fulcher and the late Howard Nelson Fulcher. Attended school in San Gabriel area until she married Euel Isabel on 11/27/1926 when they moved to Corpus Christi. They reared their family there. Preceded in death by her father, an infant sister and a brother who was a war casualty. SURVIVORS: Husband, Euel Isabel of Corpus Christi; mother, Mrs. Howard Fulcher of Granger; daughter, Mrs. A.C. (Euelene) Johnson of Corpus Christi; son, Donald Isabel of Austin; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mrs. Walter (Bill) Cannon, Mrs. J.D. ISELT, George of Thorndale. Age 64. Died 1/15/1987 (Thursday) at his home. Services held (Sat.) in St.Paul Lutheran Church. Burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Vernon M. Appel officiated. Phillips & Luckey, Rockdale, in charge of arrangements. He was BORN 5/13/1922 in Dimebox, but lived in Thorndale 61 years. Member of above church. Retired as maintenance operator for commissioner's Precinct 4, also longtime employee of the old Mobil Station at Hiway 79 & Main St. SURVIVORS: 2 brothers, W.R. Iselt of Bay City and Walter Iselt of Thorndale; 6 sisters, Alma Kasper of Beaumont, Minnie Gascamp of Waco, Esther Woelfel of Houston, Frieda Zorn of Brenham, Ruth Woelfel and Erma Kroeger, both of Thorndale. ISELT, Mrs. Ida Augusta of Thorndale. Age 90. Died ?/1968 (Tuesday) in Round Rock Nursing Home where she was placed after a fall in February. Services held (Thursday) from St.Paul Lutheran Church, Thorndale. Burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Vernon M. Appel officiated. Phillips & Luckey of Rockdale in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were grandsons: Alfred Kaspar, Harry Woelfel, Milton Woelfel, Leonard Iselt, Harold Gascamp and Garry Kroeger. She was BORN 9/21/1877 in Germany, the daughter of Andrew & Clara Richter Niemtschk. They came to the U.S. when she was 7 yrs. old. Married Herman Iselt on 2/18/1896, he preceded her in death 9/7/1953. She was a God fearing woman who reared her children to put their love for religion first. SURVIVORS: 4 sons, William of Bishop, Walter, Robert and George Iselt all of Thorndale; 6 daughters, Mrs. Edmond Kaspar of Beaumont, Mrs. Henry Gascamp of Waco, Mrs. Oscar Woelfel and Mrs. Henry Zorn of Houston, Mrs. Alfred Woelfel and Mrs. Rudolph Kroeger, both of Thorndale; 4 sisters, Mrs. Charles Michalk of Bishop and Mrs. Herman Schwab, Mrs. Oscar Hengst and Mrs. Bertha Schneider, all of Thorndale; 2 brothers, Emil Niemtschk and Otto Niemtschk of Thorndale; 34 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews.

ISELT, Philip Ray of College Station. Age 17. Died 10/5/1986 (Sunday). Services held 10/8 (Wed) in the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austin. Burial in Capital Memorial Park near Austin. Rev. David Schroeder officiated. Austin-Peel and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He was BORN 1/8/1969 and a high school student in College Staion. Member of the Lutheran Church. SURVIVORS: Mother, Helen Murphy of College Station; father, Curtis Iselt of Austin; step-father, Michael Murphy of College Station; 2 sisters, Rhonda Dowdy of Leander; and Pamela Seymour of Austin; grandparents, M/M. ISELT, Robert of Thorndale. Age 71. Died 8/2/1984 (Thursday) in the VA Hospital in Temple. Services held (Sat.) in St.Paul Lutheran Church, Thorndale. Burial in nearby church cemetery. Rev. Vernon M. Appel officiated. Phillips & Luckey of Rockdale in charge of arrangements. He was BORN 5/17/1913 in Winchester. Lived in Thorndale area for years and was a farmer. Married Ella Verwied on 2/21/1954. Member of above church and VFW Hill-Johnson Post No. 4009 of Thorndale. IVEN, Tina Kay of Humble. Age 24. Died 11/17/1981 (Tuesday) instantly as she was driving home from work in a heavy fog. Her car failed to make the exit off the highway. Services held (Thursday) in the Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Humble. Burial in the City Cemetery in Humble. Rev. Miller officiated. She had been married only 3 months and taught a twirling class. SURVIVORS: Husband, Jim Iven of Humble; parents, Charles & Edith Pratt of Houston; brother, Charles Pratt, Jr. of Houston; grandmother, Mrs. Louise Pratt of Thorndale.

IVEY, Edwin Allen of Taft & Rockdale. Age 79. Died 1/19/1989 (Thursday) at Richards Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Services held 1/22 (Sat.) in Phillips & Luckey Chapel. Graveside services 1/23 (Sunday) at Taft City Cemetery. Rev. Charles Newton of Mt.Zion Baptist Church officiated. Phillips & Luckey in charge of arrangements. He was BORN 2/2/1909 in Forney to M/M. Lucian (Adelaide Hallonquist) Ivey. Retired farmer and was a maintenance foreman at Austin State School. He was a Rockdale resident for last 4-1/2 years moving to Rockdale from Taft. Preceded in death by wife, Doris Ivey. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Sue Manuel of Rockport; 2 brothers, Maurice Ivey of Llano and Bill Ivey of Hot Springs, AR.; sister, Nan Ivey of Austin; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
