She was BORN 11/15/1892 and lived in Thorndale until her husband, Ephraim Moore, died. Taking her 3 small children and moved to Teague where she had relatives. She lived in her own home next door to her daughter. Her last visit to Thorndale was a few summers ago and about half a dozen friends hurriedly got together, went up to the First Baptist Church, where E.V., a talented organist, presented an impromptu concert of classical music and hymns. She and her sister were quite accomplished musicians and were active in the church, community and also taught music classes for many years. Preceded in death by her parents, sister, and a brother, Rev. John Moore in 1941. He was baptized at age of 6 years in the First Baptist Church and was active in the church, community and school events. Member of FFA Chapter and J.V. football team. He was a Junior in Somerville High School. Played guitar and loved all kinds of music. Preceded in death by grandparents, M/M. J.B. Morton and M/M. Sam McManus.
