Graduated from Univ. of Texas with a Masters degree in Petroleum Geology. He was freshman class president and in the first group to be elected to the prestigious Texas Cowboys. Taylor, Robert Taylor and Charles E. Taylor all of Brownwood; sister, Mrs. Grace Burns of Brownwood; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Large circle of friends. Mrs. Taylor was a close personal friend of Miss Eloise Laurence and a cousin of Dr. Cleo McChristy who visited Thorndale quite often in the Laurence home.
