He was a retired farmer of the Nile Comm. and had lived in town for past 8 years. Member of the Salty Methodist Church having joined in 1914. TURNER, Baby Glenda Gale (Gi-Gi) of Tyler. Age 8-months. Died 2/14/1973 in a Tyler hosptial. Funeral services held 2/16 at the Burks-Walker Funeral Home in Tyler. Burial in Turner family plot in Oak Hill Cemetery at Cameron. Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in charge of burial arrangements. Daughter of M/M Tommy Turner of Tyler. Mr. Turner is the nephew of Mrs. Sarah Skrivanek and had lived in Rockdale with M/M Skrivanek as a youth. He had lived in Tyler for the past 3 years, where he is a school teacher. TURNER, Harold Creighton of San Antonio. Age 66. Died 6/1986. Services held (Wed.) 6/18 at Mission Park Funeral Chapel in San Antonio. Burial in the Mission Burial Park South. Rev. Manager of the Thorndale Oil Mill. Engaged in cotton buying and the produce business. During WW-2 he worked with the Civil Service and after living in Rockdale for 10 years moved to San Antonio. For the past 29 years the family lived in Rockdale. He was a retired employee of Dow Chemical Co. at Freeport. Member of the First Christian Church of Thorndale. He continued an active life until his death.
